Product Description

Designed to meet the demanding criteria of professional divers, the durable and sporty Aquaracer combines precise timekeeping technology with TAG Heuer's signature prestige styling. The 41 mm brushed steel case highlights a silver dial with a full-color TAG Heuer logo and an automatic date calendar at the 4:30 position. Blue chronograph subdials at 2 and 10 o'clock display the 1/10 second counter and 12-hour counter respectively, and an additional subdial at 6 o'clock registers the seconds. Luminous hands and hour markers, a chronograph seconds hand, and a red chronograph minute hand with an arrow tip are all designed for optimal radiance and readability. The dial is framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel with an Arabic numeral scale for timing dives and other limited events. The watch presents on a handsome and brushed and polished steel link bracelet that features a double safety clasp and an extension system for divers.

"Amazing watch." 2010-05-05
By Hugo F. Hernandez
This is the second watch that I buy from Amazon in six months. I bought an Omega Speedmaster in December, so I did not have any doubt about the authenticity of the watch. I totally trust Amazon. Like the Omega, this watch came in impeccable presentation with the serial numbers, warranty card, and manuals. The picture does not show really how beautiful this watch is. It looks better than the black and blue versions (That is very subjective of course). I was not in the market for another watch, but a TAG Heuer with chronograph for less than $1000 was too tempting. This is a watch that you can wear on any occasion. Another thing that I love is the fact that it uses a Quartz battery, so I don't have to adjust the time on a regular basis like the Omega. I took the watch to a very fancy store to get the bracelet adjusted. They had the same watch for sale for $800 more. I have had the watch only for a couple of weeks, so maybe is too soon to provide a review. However, I am so happy with it that I just could not resist it.

"Great Watch, A Definite Stand-out!" 2010-03-21
By Jason (Tampa)
I decided to splurge and finally get a TAG, which I'd been wanting for years. When this arrived from Amazon, I was not disappointed. Immaculate craftsmanship, to say the very least. My only minor complaint, and really, it's nothing that isn't going to happen over time anyway; is that the polished section of the band scratches very easily. Within the first two days of wearing this gorgeous watch, I already had managed to get several hairline scratches all over it. It's reassuring though to know they only show up in a very strong light, and well, you pretty much have to be looking for them. Definitely a great purchase, and a killer price. Took a little while to learn the chrono functions, but once you get past that, it's seamless. You will not be let down by this watch!!

"Unacceptable." 2010-03-12
By H. P. Meyer (DC)
Finally purchased this watch about a week ago. One problem: The day wheel has been installed too closely and the actual days (the black paint) has been scraped off of the dial, which resulted in very small pieces of debris were found under the watch face.

I returned this item promptly. The only plus side is that the return was easy and Amazon customer service was helpful.

If there is any discrepancy with the return I'll be sure to change my rating to 1 star.

******UPDATE********

Thank god Amazon customer service is on point. I was reimbursed 100% (including shipping) and customer service was easy to deal with.

I would advise anyone buying this watch to do a CAREFUL inspection of it prior to keeping it -- Go to a watch specialist and let them take a look at it for (1) authenticity and (2) movement

"Great watch but I had to return it" 2010-02-18
By Toby Altfeld (TN)
I really liked this watch. A little complicated to operate all those timers. The red minute timer hand started resetting on the two minute mark. I wanted the watch to be just right and am returning it. Too bad they didn't offer me the option to get a replacement and I could not see how you get advice on if this is something that can be repaired. Anyway the price has gone up significantly but I will likely get another one.

"beautiful, elegant, sporty" 2010-01-30
By Ronald Deangelo (new york)
I know the rage is for automatics and yes I have many including the aquaracer with the 7750 valjoux movement in black. But sometimes I simply don't want 19th century technology. I don't want to have to wind my watch every day or plug in the watch winder. Sometimes I want the simple pleasure of a beautiful no hassel quartz. And this one is a beauty. The silver-blue dial makes it versatile. Sporty with jeans and a tee shirt, dressed up with a jacket and tie and elegant with a suit. Amazon had the best price on it and I was happy to add this Tag to my collection. Note 1: it seems I have the 43 millimeter model which has more presence on the wrist. Note2, it can sometimes be difficult to see the hands -- not enough contrast with the silver dial. This is particularly the case with the chronographs in the aquaracer series--the hands can get lost in subdials and/ or the lack of contrast in lower light.
